FreezeAlarm Home Monitors Alert You Before Damage Occurs

Today, many people leave town during the winter and have unattended homes during the coldest part of the year. Vacation property owners also find their second homes and cottages unoccupied for long periods of time during the winter months. As a result, furnace failure and the resulting water damage can occur without notice.

Control Products offers a wide variety of temperature alarms and remote monitoring systems for homes, vacation property, businesses and industry. Our FreezeAlarm monitors temperature and calls out to a pre-programmed telephone number before the temperature reaches a critical level. In addition to the low temperature alarm offered on all of our FreezeAlarms, many of our FreezeAlarm models also provide a high temperature alarm, power failure alarm and low battery notification.

Remote Temperature Monitoring
Temperature can easily be monitored remotely by using our Quick Status Feature, which gives current temperature, power status and back-up battery voltage in a quick 15 second phone call. This feature is available on the Intermediate, Deluxe and Wireless FreezeAlarm models.

Remote Temperature Control
Telephone Controlled Thermostat feature enables the user to turn up or down the heat and air conditioning with a phone call. Some installation with your existing thermostats and heating system is required for this feature. Remote temperature control is available on our Deluxe FreezeAlarm model.

Add a Water Sensor or Motion Sensor for Additional Protection
Add a water sensor or our motion sensor to our Deluxe FreezeAlarm model to cover protection beyond temperature and power failure notification. Our WaterSiren Plus model provides both an local audible alarm, plus the ability to trigger a call-out message from your Deluxe FreezeAlarm.

For protection against intruders, add our Motion Sensor to sound a local siren as well as trigger the Deluxe FreezeAlarm to call out with alert message.

Wireless Sensors
Our Wireless FreezeAlarm model features extended protection with wireless sensors that can be placed anywhere in a home or business. The sensors wirelessly send temperature information to a base station. If any sensor detects a temperature that is too low or too high, the base station will call up to three telephone numbers with a temperature alarm emergency message.

Perfect for the cabin owner who snowmobiles, skis, or ice fishes, the Deluxe FreezeAlarm lets you warm up the cabin by telephone. Simply install a second thermostat and with one phone call, switch between the thermostat set at 50° to the one set at 70° and enjoy a comfortable cabin when you arrive.

Deluxe model also accepts optional sensors such as our WaterAlarm™ or our MiniAlarm™ motion sensor. This unit calls up to three phone numbers if there is a temperature emergency, prolonged power failure, or if the backup battery needs replacing. Also can call a numeric pager and leave a numeric message on the pager display.

The Intermediate Model will call up to three phone numbers and alert you of a drop (or rise) in temperature, a power failure or if the back-up battery requires replacing. The Quick Status Check feature allows you to check the current temperature, power and battery status all within a quick 15 second phone call.

This model has a number of features that make it easy to use with answering machines and voice mail. The power monitoring feature can be adjusted to avoid alarm calls for short power failures if desired.

The Basic FreezeAlarm automatically calls out to one telephone number when the temperature drops below 45°. The Basic FreezeAlarm gives the person answering the call a pre-recorded voice message indicating there is a temperature emergency at the monitored location. It will even record the alarm message on your answering machine or voice mail. This unit will continue to call your programmed number until someone calls back to tell the FreezeAlarm to stop calling. The Basic model is the only FreezeAlarm model that requires you to have Touch Tone™ phone service at your monitored location
