Our extensive line of humidity indicators, alarms and controllers require the separate purchase of a humidity sensor. Humidity sensors come in several styles to meet different applications. All sensors have three wire connections that can be spliced up to 500 away from the main control. Please note that all humidity sensors can be degraded by harsh chemicals such as chlorine, solvents, volatile acids and cleaning agents. They also are adversely affected by direct contact with water or condensation.

Humidity Sensor Models

The HS-50-S comes in a compact wall mount type case. In most clean indoor applications, this is the preferred humidity sensor configuration. This sensor is small and looks attractive next to existing wall thermostats and controls.

The HS-70-D is a duct mounted humidity sensor that is used in applications where sample air from ductwork is being monitored. The enclosure is made out of rugged plastic that can stand up to industrial conditions.

The HS-70-O is designed for outdoor applications. The humidity sensor is mounted in a sturdy plastic case and has a mesh filter that allows outdoor air to be sampled. Be aware that this enclosure should be protected from direct exposure to rain and other harsh outdoor conditions.
